Control wiring and construction off vital parts.

We have now reached controll of operation and settings.
In Peter Holthams book is a whole list one must go through in order to detect wiring errors, and to ensure that no disaster unfolds.

Adapter for BL 63 or 6F8.
Both valves hard to come by, or one must be prepared to pay a lot of money.
So one has to go to use a replacement valve.
This valve had other connections,  I just left the connections in place according to the schematics.
And in case some valve would turn up some way, the valve can still be used  in the unit.

The filament current of the BL63 is significantly higher than that of the current valve, a fraction 300mA.
This adapter is for sale on the Internet for 20 euros.
A visit to the junk box meant 0 euros  one a half hours of work.

Missing coils and transformers.

Winding DF transformer.

Testing DF transformer.

A power transformer is available  for 90 euros.
The self-made power transformer shown, takes only a fraction off that price one and  half a days work.
The DF transformer was also missing this is also self-made.

Winding the output transformer for the 6G6 or 6V6.
The impedance from both valves are different, the transformer can handle both.
6V6 5000 or 6G6 10000 ohms.

Output transformer  primary 5000 and 10000 ohms secondary 4 and 8 ohms

The wiring control filament OK.

 Bias board  wiring Ok

Wiring valve connections.

An error detected on V3.
Having corrected this everything was OK.

Close up oscillator section.

The rest of the rewiring coil box is OK.

Construction off an adaptor for the jones plugs.

Ready and tested.
